How do I list an item from my digital wardrobe for resale?-

Head to your mobile app wardrobe page find the item you want to list and click ‘SELL’. Fill in any missing info to sell.

What are the selling fees?

When you sell an item on OWNI, we deduct 20% of the total in fees.

Where can I view my items on sale?

Head to your mobile app accounts page and click ‘Items on Sale’ in the left hand menu.

What happens when I sell an item?

You will be sent an email congratulating you on your sale and prompting you to accept your order. When you accept you will receive a free shipping label for collection or drop off.

Do I need to print off my shipping label?

You can either print the shipping label or take your digital copy to your local parcel drop off point.

When will I be paid?

We give buyers 5 days to confirm they have received the correct item. After these 5 days you will be paid.

How do I get paid?

Your money will be sent to the bank account you provided via Stripe.

Where can I view the items I’ve sold?

You can view all of your previously sold items on the ‘Items Sold’ page of your mobile app.

What sort of items can I buy on OWNI’s pre-loved marketplace?

You can shop pre-loved fashion for less, saving up to 80% off the original retail price. Daily listings are added by our wonderful community of Owners, sustainable brand partners and their customers, so keep checking back for the latest steals!

How do you authenticate listings?

We trace a seller's order history through Digital receipts to verify that the items they list were originally bought from the brand stated. Our buyer protection promise means that, if your order is not as described, you can return it in exchange for a full refund from 5 days after arrival.

How do I know if something is my size?

Please see our size guidefor reference. If you are unsure whether an item will fit,contact our customer care teamwho will be happy to assist you.

How do I pay for my order?

You pay by entering your card details at checkout. 

How will I be updated about my order?

You will receive an order confirmation email from OWNI when your order is placed. Sometimes these emails enter your spam folder so it’s always good to double check.

What happens when my order arrives?

When you receive your order, you have 5 days to raise any order issues with our team and/or request a refund. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will consider the order completed.

Where are my OWNI marketplace purchases stored?

Any purchases you make on your account in the marketplace will appear in your digital wardrobe in our mobile app once they have been shipped. You can then resell them at a later date. 

I bought an item with guest checkout. How do I add that item to my digital wardrobe?-

By creating an OWNI account using the same email address you used to purchase your item(s).

What is OWNI Offers?

OWNI Offers are a way for shoppers to offer a make request on items owned by OWNI users.

Why are we trialling OWNI offers?-

Many people have items they OWN but don't use but don’t have time to list on any resale marketplaces. It's estimated by the Ellen Macarthur Foundation that there are over 2 billion such items in the UK. OWNI offers helps shoppers to view and shop from these owned items so that fewer items are prevented from going into landfill.

What makes OWNI Offers different from traditional resale?-

The difference between OWNI Offers and traditional resale is that the items on offer are automatically digitized items in users' OWNI wardrobe. Meaning that shoppers don’t have to wait for a seller to put an item ‘on sale’ to request it.

How does OWNI Offers work?-

OWNI Offers connects shoppers to all owners of every item. Meaning that each offer that is made is sent to up to 50 people each time. The first owner that responds to the offer becomes the seller. Helping shoppers to find exactly what they are looking for, and connecting them to the person most willing to sell it.

How can I make an offer?-

Head to OWNI’s in-app discover tab. Search for what you are looking for, and then click on the item image. There you’ll find the item name and description. Tap on the ‘send an offer’ button, set your offer price, and send the offer.

How can I view and respond to the offers I receive?-

OWNI Offers is available via the latest version of our mobile app. Please make sure your version is up to date. Then open the app, head to your offers received page in account settings to see and respond to the offers.

I accepted the offer, what happens next?-

The shopper will be notified and will be nudged to pay. When they pay, you will receive a new OWNI order, including a free shipping label and payment.

I rejected the offer, what happens next?-

The shopper will be notified, and your offer will be in rejected status. Depending on the reason you gave for rejection, we will adjust your digital wardrobe. For example, if you said you no longer have the item, we will make sure to remove it from your wardrobe, etc. In the instance when the item is OWNED by multiple people, they will each have an opportunity to respond to the offer. The first to accept will receive the order.

I want to receive more offers. What should I do?-

The key to receiving more offers is having more items in your digital wardrobe. Make sure to set up your email import tool in your account settings as that tool will turn all of your e-receipts into a library of your things from resale. Or recommend that the brands you purchase connect with OWNI. Or add items to your wardrobe yourself.

I don't want to receive any offers. What should I do?-

In order to not receive any offers, all you need to do is turn your wardrobe toggle to hidden in your account settings. This will prevent any of your wardrobe items from being seen in OWNI discover. You can turn this toggle on and off whenever you want.

Does this mean my wardrobe is visible to everyone?-

No, OWNI offers work by making items visible for offers. Your wardrobe remains private. And as mentioned above, you can toggle on and off wardrobe visibility in your account settings.

Shipping FAQ's

How much is shipping?-

UK shipping is free on orders over £50 and £3.95 for orders below £50. International shipping is calculated before checkout. International customs fees are the responsibility of the shopper.

How long does shipping take?-

Sent orders will arrive within 5 working days in the UK.

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Yes, international shipping is approximately £25 per order and is calculated at checkout.

Where is my order?-

All items sold through OWNI are sent via tracked delivery. If you are having trouble locating your parcel, please contact us at customercare@owni.app with your order number.

What happens if my parcel goes missing?-

If your parcel has not arrived 5 days after being sent, please contact us at customercare@owni.app with your order number. If your parcel is reported missing, you can either be refunded in full or be given OWNI credits equivalent to the order value.
